What a bunch of cuties! It’s not just kitten season in Majorca but puppy time as well and the refuges around the island are dealing with a big increase in abandoned animals. Merche and her helpers in Llucmajor are in charge of this group of beautiful pooches which have all been abandoned and are currently in their care. If you are interested in any of them then please get in touch with Merche via email on firstname.lastname@example.org or call 673 37 63 82. The refuge is open to the public on Tuesday and Thursday from 10am to midday and on Saturdays from 10am to 2pm.
The photos are all taken by the super photographer Shane Green (www.shanegreenphotography.com). He was asking the names of the pups and Pequito at the refuge was naming them on the spot! They’re all about 3 months old. The others: Pucca, is about 6 months old and female, and Linda is about a year old, female and quite shy and retiring.
Both Morrison and Sainsbury are doing well and are eating (A LOT). They will be ready for adoption in about a month. If you are searching for a kitten to adopt there are a lot on offer at Cat & Kitten in El Toro. You can get in touch with them via Pet Project.
Every week Pet Project aims to help to rehome an animal or to help and support a refuge or animal shelter here on the island. Pet Project is run by the PR firm Phoenix Media and is supported by the Majorca Daily Bulletin and some of the island’s best professional and amateur photographers.
