Fancy a Kiwi?
The nice people at the animal sanctuary Arc Mallorca have been asked to re-home a Pyrenean Mountain Dog – he is absolutely beautiful, 2 years old, and a very gentle giant. His owners must, due to family and financial circumstance, return to Germany and the only accommodation they have is their father’s flat which is very small and not good for a dog of this size. With great regret as they love him to bits they made the decision that for his sake they would prefer to find him a loving family and home here on Majorca with some land for him to run around on and enjoy life rather than spending a lot of his time in a very cramped flat . His name is Kiwi, if you pop over to the Pet Project Facebook page then you can see a video of him in action.
If you would like to know more about him then you can get in touch with June at Arc Mallorca via their website http://www.arc-mallorca.org.

The Cat and Kitten Rescue group urgently need tombola prizes as they have a stall at the Support Charley event at the House of Katmandu on April 27th. They are after cakes, bottles of alcohol and gifts. They have 3 drop off points for food, litter and tombola prizes: Salvation Army in Son Caliu, Second Time Around in Magaluf and British Laundry in Santa Ponsa.
Every week Pet Project aims to help to rehome an animal or to help and support a refuge or animal shelter here on the island. Pet Project is run by the PR firm Phoenix Media and is supported by the Majorca Daily Bulletin and some of the island’s best professional and amateur photographers.
